Dinner Concert Artist Profiles
Our main music man Tyler Yarema needs no introduction. His expert piano playing is the perfect pairing with a wide variety of guests that grace the stage at Mrs. Mitchell’s Restaurant. tyleryarema.com
Lucille
Lucille is a singer-songwriter whose love of old-school Motown & soul has influenced her original music. She has released two albums — a blend of soulful pop, punctuated by a full horn section, and reminiscent of a time when music was sincere, bold and proud.
She hosts a weekly residency at the Reservoir Lounge jazz club in downtown Toronto, where her fanbase of live-music lovers enjoy the high energy and grit of her full-band concerts, as well as the intimacy of her solo performances.

Alison Young
She may be young in age as well as name, but the soul she breathes into that saxophone dates right back to the roots of jazz and swing.
We’re always excited to have her graceful presence on the Mrs. Mitchell’s stage, complementing Tyler’s powerful piano prowess and adding sweet harmonies to his masterful vocal melodies.
Mary-Grace “Gracie” Marino
Gracie has easily endeared herself to our Violet Hill audience and we know she’ll receive a warm welcome once again. If you haven’t had the opportunity yet, be sure to take in this show.
An incredibly talented young singer/songwriter/guitarist/vocalist, Gracie hails from Oakville, Ontario. Her voice has been compared to singers such as Etta James, Amy Winehouse and Joss Stone. Though capable in any genre, she favours jazz RnB, and her compositions portray hauntingly honest lyrics combined with groove and soul. She never disappoints, delivering an entertaining set that perfectly showcases her signature powerful vocals and improvisations.
Gracie covers a lot of ground in her performances, with a remarkable vocal range that transitions easily from the dulcet trill of the jazz era to the vocal acrobatics of today’s popular music. She’s no slouch on guitar either, pumping out riffs that complement every groove. Many of the songs she plays are her own originals, which blend smoothly with well-chosen covers for a well-paced and well-rounded set that you’re sure to enjoy.
Chuck Jackson
Enjoy a night of feel-good music with Tyler Yarema and Chuck Jackson as part of Mrs. Mitchell’s Dinner Concert Series.
Co-founder of the Southside Shuffle festival in Port Credit and front man for Downchild Blues Band, Chuck Jackson has been a force in the Canadian blues scene for over four decades, receiving a Distinguished Career Award from the Toronto Blues Society, multiple Maple Blues Awards and numerous other honours. We are thrilled to welcome Chuck back to the stage for another intimate but rocking show.

Janice Hagan
Get ready for a warm and jazzy evening with another of Toronto’s great musical gifts.
Songstress Janice Hagan captivates audiences with her sultry renditions of some of the most famous songs in the lexicons of jazz, big band, cabaret and show tunes. She maintained a weekly show at The Reservoir Lounge for many years, has several recording albums and credits to her name, and has made numerous appearances at Canada’s top jazz festivals.
As Heather Phares from All Music Guide said about one of Janice’s albums:
“Let’s misbehave! features singer Janice Hagan’s jazzy interpretations of some of Broadway’s biggest, sassiest songs, including “All That Jazz,” “Whatever Lola Wants,” and “My Heart Belongs to Daddy.” Hagan’s throaty alto is a good vehicle for these songs as well as “Let’s Fall in Love,” “Makin’ Whoopee,” and smokier tracks like “September Song” and “Do It Again.” … “quite an enjoyable listen for fans of show tunes and vocal jazz.”
